This B1G Week 12/23-29

Hello and welcome friends to another edition of this B1G Week. Well this blog is officially whatever the opposite of a Chris Collins stan. We were one Northwestern win away from a perfect 14-way tie for first place with a record of 1-1. Once again it's clear that we can't have nice things.

Tis the season so there are zero games until next Saturday. Each conference team has a single game next weekend. Just three of those games are against power conference teams. Regardless it'll be a fun slate of games next Sunday. Have a happy holidays everybody!

Big Ten Game of the Week

Sunday - Noon - FS1 - West Virginia vs Ohio State - OSU has been very good all season long. Other than one notable slipup at Minnesota, the Buckeyes have been rolling. West Virginia has been a surprise so far even if they've went away from Press Virginia.

Nonconference Game of the Week

Saturday - 3:45 pm - CBS - Louisville @ Kentucky - This will be a big-time matchup in the Blue Grass State. Louisville has cemented themselves as one of the top teams in the country while Kentucky has been somewhat disappointing this year as their freshmen haven't been the strongest the program has ever seen.

There was a lot of random moving and shaking this week. Purdue and Illinois may have lost to good teams but the teams below them have really impressed recently. Additionally, Michigan State is finally starting to play like the team we thought they were and Maryland has not looked great recently.
