Hello and welcome friends to another edition of This B1G Week. March is finally upon us which means this is the final week of the regular season. There is still a ton to play for in the league. No seeding in the Conference Tournament has officially been locked up. Michigan is still heads and heels above the rest of the standings but should they lose out and Illinois wins out, it would be the Illini that finish on top.
Besides seeding in the conference tournament, most of the league has the Big Dance to think about. Ohio State and Illinois are still competing for the fourth number one seed and a handful is competing for an at-large bid.

Big Ten Game of the Week
Tuesday - 7 pm - ESPN - Illinois @ Michigan - This is just about as big of a game we can get in the final week of the season. If Michigan wins they'll clinch the conference crown. If Illinois wins they'll keep their conference title hopes alive and give their resume a huge boost. The unfortunate part for Illinois is this won't even be their only top ten opponent this week as they play Ohio State later in the week.

Nonconference Game of the Week
Tuesday - 5 pm - ESPN 2 - Baylor @ West Virginia - The Bears are fresh off their first loss of the season. If Baylor wants to make a run at the national title they'll need to regain some momentum going into the postseason.

Team of the Weak
Michigan State Spartans - Okay, okay. Yes they did lay a dud on Sunday against Maryland but during the week Sparty won against two top ten teams. They straighup manhandled Illinois on Tuesday and they picked up another huge win over Ohio State a few days later.
Team of the Weak
Minnesota Golden Gophers - It's hard to imagine a worse week for a bubble team than the week Minnesota had. They lost two games last week, making it five straight, and the pair were the bottom two teams in the conference. Northwestern snapped their 13 game losing streak against Minnesota, marking their first win in 2021, and Nebraska picked up their second win since December 18th.
