Hello and welcome friends to another edition of This B1G Week. After what feels like a decade, Big Ten Basketball is back! As dominant as the conference was last year, this year the league could get even better. This B1G Week will follow a similar format as last year's with some games to watch, the current standings, and a schedule of that week's games. The Team of the Week and Team of the Weak segments will return next week when teams have actually played games.
Big Ten Game of the Week
Wednesday - 6 pm - CBS Sports - Liberty vs Purdue - This opening week sees nearly everyone in the league facing off against mid-major opponents, except for Purdue. The Boilers face off against Liberty, a very solid mid-major program, and will go on to play a power conference foe in either Clemson or Mississippi.

Thursday - 1:30 - Fox - Gonzaga vs Kansas - One thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. In between your second and third plate, a top ten match up will be tipping off. The Zags will enter the year as favorites to win the whole thing and I have them as favorites to beat the Jayhawks.
