This B1G Week 3/4-10

Hello and welcome friends to another edition of this B1G Week. This is a B1G week for every team 1-14 in the league. The regular season title is still up for grabs. Seeding for the Big Ten Tournament is still yet to be locked in. A few teams are still trying to bolster their resume to make the Big Dance. Finally, it's Senior Night this week for teams in the league so they'll be looking to send their graduating class out with a high note.

This will be the final This B1G Week for the season. If you want insight into the Big Ten Tournament, as well as the other conference tournaments, please check out our Conference Tournament Week Previews which will be released the next two Mondays.

Nonconference Game of the Midweek

Various Days - Various Times - Various Channels - Mid-Major Conference Tournaments - I'm telling you if you want to have fun watching basketball this week you'll check out some of the Mid-Major conference tournaments. Often times these conferences are only getting a single bid, so their conference tournaments turn into an all or nothing affair, teams scrapping trying to get their chance at the Big Dance. Ten or so conferences have their tournaments start this week, and three (Ohio Valley, Atlantic Sun, and Missouri Valley) have their championship games this weekend. Watch these games to find the first teams to earn their way to the national tournament and maybe even find this year's Cinderella team. Stay tuned in for a post on Head In The Game with previews of these tournaments.

Nonconference Game of the Weekend

Saturday - 6 pm - ESPN - Duke @ North Carolina - This is a great game to close out the regular season. Both teams are looking to capture the ACC Title and top seeds in the national tournament. Duke is looking for revenge on the UNC team that beat them at home. North Carolina is looking for a victory over their rival at Senior Night. I like North Carolina to complete the season sweep of the Blue Devils.
